Braunschweig.
Die Shortlist für den Wilhelm Raabe-Literaturpreis 2026 steht fest. Fünf Autorinnen und ein Autor sind mit ihren Romanen nominiert:
Shida Bazyar: Die Lücken, Kiepenheuer & Witsch, 2026
Helene Bukowski: Wer möchte nicht im Leben bleiben, Claassen, 2026
Tomer Gardi: Liefern, Klett-Cotta, 2026
Heike Geißler: Michaela Kohlhaas, Suhrkamp, 2026
Lena Gorelik: Alle meine Mütter, Rowohlt, 2026
Kerstin Preiwuß: Wir alle, Berlin Verlag, 2026
Mit 30.000 Euro Preisgeld gehört der Wilhelm Raabe-Literaturpreis zu den bedeutendsten literarischen Auszeichnungen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Der Preis wird jährlich von den Kooperationspartnern Deutschlandfunk und der Stadt Braunschweig vergeben und würdigt ein in deutscher Sprache verfasstes erzählerisches Werk.
Der Wilhelm Raabe-Literaturpreis 2026 wird am Samstag, 7. November, um 16 Uhr, im Kleinen Haus des Staatstheaters in Braunschweig verliehen. Deutschlandfunk und Deutschlandfunk Kultur berichten ausführlich über Preis und Preisverleihung. Auf dem Digitalkanal Deutschlandfunk Dokumente und Debatten (Dlf DokDeb) wird die Preisverleihung live übertragen.
